Medicinal Cannabis refers to the use of cannabis and its cannabinoids to treat medical conditions. Cannabis contains compounds called cannabinoids, including tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), which have been found to have a variety of therapeutic effects. Medicinal cannabis may be used to alleviate symptoms associated with a range of medical conditions, including chronic pain, nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis, and seizures caused by epilepsy. It may also be helpful in managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is important to note that medicinal cannabis is not a cure for any of these conditions and should be used in conjunction with other treatments as recommended by a healthcare professional.
