LEVLEN® ED is a combined oral contraceptive, commonly known as "the Pill." It is primarily used to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus to make it more difficult for sperm to reach the egg, and changing the uterine lining to make it less suitable for implantation.
In fertility treatments, LEVLEN® ED may be prescribed to regulate menstrual cycles or suppress ovarian activity before starting ovarian stimulation protocols in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures, such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF).
