REKOVELLE® is used in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments, such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), to stimulate the development of multiple follicles in the ovaries.
It is the first recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) derived from a human cell line and is administered using an individualised dosing regimen based on a woman’s serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) level and body weight.
Back To TopThe dosage of REKOVELLE® is personalised for each patient. For the first treatment cycle, the daily dose is determined based on the woman’s AMH concentration and body weight.
Treatment typically begins on day 2 or 3 of the menstrual cycle and continues until sufficient follicular development is achieved.
Your fertility specialist will provide specific instructions on the timing and duration of treatment.

Do not administer a double dose to make up for the missed one.
Timing is critical in fertility treatments, so follow your doctor’s instructions closely.

Back To TopHow does REKOVELLE® work in fertility treatments? REKOVELLE® contains follitropin delta, a recombinant form of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). It stimulates the ovaries to develop multiple follicles, increasing the number of eggs available for retrieval during IVF. Its individualised dosing regimen ensures a consistent and evidence-based approach to personalising treatment.
Can I administer REKOVELLE® myself? Yes, REKOVELLE® is designed for self-administration if your doctor or nurse has trained you in the proper injection technique. It is given as a subcutaneous injection, typically in the lower abdomen. Follow the instructions provided by your healthcare team carefully.
What should I do if I experience side effects? Mild side effects, such as redness or swelling at the injection site, are common and usually temporary. If you experience severe symptoms, such as signs of OHSS, contact your doctor immediately. Your healthcare team is here to support you.
Can REKOVELLE® be used during pregnancy? No, REKOVELLE® must not be used during pregnancy. It is specifically designed for use during ovarian stimulation cycles before conception. If you suspect you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediately.
How should I store REKOVELLE®? Store REKOVELLE® in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. If refrigeration is unavailable, it can be stored below 25°C for up to one month. Always keep the medication in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
